Taylor and Steve were heading over for their trail marathon on the island. Me being not even close to prepared for a marathon decided to sign up for the 10k that just runs around the Avalon Bay. What a crazy fun course. You gun it downhill for what was a 5:45 minute first mile for me and then you climb straight up a mountain, come down, go up another mountain for a long painful incline, then turn around and hit the finish. I was passed by several people on the last down but overall was very pleased with my 10k! It might be a PR since I don't know of any other 10k's that I have done. Yay!
10k - 46:55 - 7:33 mpm - AG 2nd - PODIUM!
